Hot rolled round bar, usually named “round bars”, are produced by hot rolling continuously cast steel billets. it’s used in hot die pressing and forging but they may also undergo cold finishing. Hot rolled round bar is a strong, tough, ductile, formable and weldable steel material that can be used for numerous types of applications. It also provides a rougher surface and can be easily shaped and formed. Hot rolled steel bar stock is generally easy to drill and form while maintaining excellent mechanical properties. It is also characterized by its unique radius corners, compared to the sharp corners of cold rolled steel. It also maintains very good mechanical properties and is easy to fabricate.
Hot rolled round bars are used in hot die pressing and forging but they may also undergo cold finishing. A variety of mechanical components such as gears, hubs, shafts, drives and many more can be obtained by die pressing and forging. They all have to resist, sustain and transfer motion and must not warp. In this field, steel fosters real industry development.

- Bolts
- Fasteners
- Hydraulic barrel tubes
- Fittings
- Gear blanks
- Cylinder Shafts
- Tank flanges
- Connecting rods
- Pistons
